If your idea of a good Saturday involves a glass of wine in hand, music in the air and the Sanur coastline as your backdrop, make a date with Byrd Wine Carnival Vol. 4.
Returning to Byrd House Bali on Saturday, 19 September, the annual celebration is bringing together more than 20 wines from around the world, alongside live entertainment and plenty of opportunities to sip, socialise and simply enjoy the evening.
Now in its fourth edition, the carnival keeps things easy-going and social. From 5pm to 8pm, guests can enjoy three hours of unlimited wine tasting, exploring different styles and flavour profiles from five participating wine brands. Whether you already know your Shiraz from your Sauvignon Blanc or simply want to discover a new favourite, the format is made for tasting your way through the evening.
But wine is only part of the party.
Once the glasses are poured, Byrd House Bali turns up the energy with a line-up that includes live DJ sets, flamenco performances, a cabaret show, interactive games, bar takeovers and bartender flair. There is even a 360-degree spin photo booth, because no good night out is complete without a little photographic evidence.
Set right on Segara Beach, Byrd House Bali already has the kind of setting that makes lingering easy. The lifestyle destination combines a pool club, restaurants and bars with a sleek, minimalist design by Yoke Sara Architects, while its dining offering spans Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, Indonesian and Japanese dishes, artisan pastries, gelato and coffee.
For Wine Carnival, however, the mood shifts into something a little more playful. It is an evening designed to bring together wine lovers, foodies, lifestyle enthusiasts, Bali’s local community and visitors in one beachfront setting where the dress code is essentially good vibes and the agenda is simple: drink, dance and have fun.
The carnival runs from 4pm to 11pm, with unlimited wine tasting from 5pm to 8pm. Tickets are priced at IDR 350,000 net per person.
