ICON BALI Beach Bazaar Turns Sanur into a Weekend Celebration of Culture and Community

Weekends in Sanur have found a new rhythm. Returning with an even bigger celebration of local culture, creativity, and entertainment, ICON BALI Beach Bazaar transformed the beachfront into a lively gathering place where shopping, dining, and cultural performances came together in one vibrant experience. Held over two days on 24–25 July 2026, the monthly event once again showcased why Sanur continues to charm visitors looking for a slower, more authentic side of Bali.

At the heart of the bazaar were 24 local MSMEs (UMKMs), offering everything from handcrafted souvenirs and artisan products to fashionable finds and delicious local bites. Whether visitors came searching for unique gifts or simply wanted to enjoy a leisurely stroll by the beach, the market created an inviting atmosphere that celebrated Bali's thriving creative community.

Adding to the festive mood were live DJ performances that kept the energy flowing throughout the weekend. Families, friends, and travelers lingered longer, enjoying great food, shopping, and ocean views while music filled the air. It was the kind of easygoing weekend scene that perfectly captures Sanur's laid-back charm.

One of the biggest crowd-pullers was a special appearance by Indonesian singer Shanty, whose lively performance brought hundreds of visitors together for an unforgettable evening. Her iconic hits and energetic stage presence turned the beachfront into an open-air concert, creating one of the standout moments of the July edition.

The event also celebrated Bali's cultural heritage through captivating performances that blended tradition with contemporary creativity. The opening night featured a mesmerizing Balinese LED Dance, where glowing costumes added a modern twist to traditional dance, while the second evening closed with the dramatic Fire Kecak Dance, performed against the backdrop of the ocean. The combination of rhythmic chants, fire, and the setting sun offered both local and international visitors a memorable glimpse into Bali's living traditions.

More than just a weekend market, the ICON BALI Beach Bazaar has become a platform that supports local entrepreneurs while bringing people together through culture, food, and entertainment. With fresh themes and new performances planned every month, each edition promises something different, making it well worth adding to your Bali itinerary—whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular looking for a relaxing day by the sea.
