An Italian Culinary Icon Comes to Bali: Chef Enrico Bartolini Returns to AMICI
There are dinner reservations, and then there are evenings worth making plans around. On Sunday, 4 October 2026, AMICI by Enrico Bartolini will welcome its founder, Chef Enrico Bartolini, back to Bali for an exclusive one-evening culinary collaboration, bringing together two culinary perspectives in one intimate Seminyak setting.
The evening begins with a canapé reception from 6pm to 7.30pm, setting the mood with fine wines, good food and the kind of Italian conviviality that makes lingering around the table feel like part of the experience. From 7.30pm, guests will settle in for a five-course set dinner served across AMICI’s elegant indoor dining room and open-air veranda.
Taking over the kitchen together will be Chef Enrico Bartolini and Chef Alessandro D’Amico, creating a menu that brings AMICI’s identity into conversation with Bartolini’s signature culinary language. The full menu is being kept under wraps until the night itself, but one dish has already been revealed: Risotto Enrico Bartolini, the chef’s iconic beetroot “Acquerello” risotto, finished with butter, Gorgonzola and walnut.
And while the food is naturally the main event, this is not simply about ticking off five courses. The evening is conceived around memory, emotion and Italian culinary artistry, with technique and tradition meeting the relaxed, sociable atmosphere that has become part of AMICI’s character.
For those who know AMICI, the collaboration also feels like a homecoming of sorts. Located in the heart of Seminyak, the restaurant was born from Bartolini’s vision of bringing a contemporary interpretation of Italian dining to Bali, balancing regional traditions with simplicity, authenticity and seasonality. Its menu spans house-made pastas, gourmet pizzas, premium meats and fresh seafood, alongside Italian wines and signature cocktails.
With only 100 guests accommodated for the evening — 76 indoors and 24 on the veranda — the setting is deliberately intimate. Guests can opt for the five-course dinner at IDR 899,000++ per person, add wine pairing for IDR 599,000++, or go all in with the full menu-and-wine package at IDR 1,498,000++ per person. Vegetarian alternatives are also available with at least two weeks’ advance notice.
For one night, Seminyak gets a taste of Bartolini’s world — served the AMICI way. Expect an evening of Italian flavours, carefully poured wines, beautiful plates and, most importantly, a table worth gathering around.
