Art, Fashion and Music Collide at Pullman Xchange: Symphony of Elements 2026

Art takes centre stage in Legian as Pullman Bali Legian Beach presents Pullman Xchange: Symphony of Elements 2026, an annual art exhibition that brings together Indonesia’s creative community for an evening of colour, movement and artistic exchange. Held on 23 October 2026 at Alun-Alun Garden, the event united painting, sculpture, fashion, dance and music in a dynamic celebration of creativity, in collaboration with Komunitas Seni Mangurupa.
At the heart of the exhibition are works by Mangurupa artists, with particular attention on two Indonesian talents whose practices have reached international audiences: painter Tatang Budi Santoso and Balinese sculptor I Ketut Putrayasa. Known for his thought-provoking visual narratives, Tatang has participated in international exhibitions, including Olympic Fine Arts 2008 in Beijing and the 6th Beijing International Art Biennale. His work, Borderless, is also part of the Olympic Museum collection in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Meanwhile, Putrayasa brings an impressive portfolio spanning projects and exhibitions in Belgium, France, Singapore and Turkey. Among his notable achievements is The Octopus Queen, a monumental 25-metre bamboo-weaving sculpture recognised by MURI in 2025 as Indonesia’s largest sculpture of its kind. He was also involved in the spectacular Kecak performance featuring 5,555 dancers at Berawa Beach, which received MURI recognition in 2018.
But the evening was never just about admiring art on a gallery wall. As the night unfolded, the programme expanded into a multidisciplinary showcase, where fashion, dance and music added new dimensions to the creative conversation.

Dance Generation, the Bali-based dance group that reached the quarter-finals of Indonesia’s Got Talent in 2023, brought contemporary choreography and acrobatic elements to the stage. Fashion took its turn in the spotlight through presentations by Debz Collections and EP Art by Eka Plawa, with models guided by choreography from Lenny Hartono Management. Known for its experience across international and regional fashion platforms, the management added a polished runway element to the evening, while EP Art by Eka Plawa explored the intersection of traditional Balinese influences and contemporary stage aesthetics through costume and artistic direction.
Keeping the energy flowing throughout the night, DJ Herllyna supplied the soundtrack as the different disciplines came together in a lively expression of artistic individuality and collaboration.
For Ravi Khubchandani, General Manager of Pullman Bali Legian Beach, the concept reflects the possibilities that emerge when creative voices share the same space. Rather than treating each discipline as a separate entity, Symphony of Elements creates opportunities for artists and audiences to discover fresh connections and perspectives.

The experience also extends beyond the opening night. Selected paintings and sculptures remain on display on the resort’s lobby floor, allowing guests to encounter Indonesian creativity as part of their stay. It is an approach that makes art feel less like a formal exhibition and more like an organic part of the hospitality experience.
With Pullman Xchange: Symphony of Elements 2026, Pullman Bali Legian Beach continues to open its doors to Indonesia’s creative community, creating a meeting point where art, fashion and performance move beyond their individual boundaries. For Bali’s ever-evolving cultural scene, it is another reminder that some of the most compelling experiences happen when different creative worlds collide.
