Renaissance Hotels Is Giving After-Dark Culture a New Twist with Its Beverage Rituals Collection

The best nights out are rarely just about what is in your glass. They are about the people you meet, the stories you stumble upon and the little discoveries that turn an ordinary evening into something worth remembering. Renaissance Hotels is leaning into that spirit with its new Beverage Rituals Collection, bringing a fresh perspective to after-dark experiences across Asia Pacific, excluding China.

Developed in collaboration with award-winning Indonesian bartender Demitria “Demi” Dana Paramita, founder of HATS Bar Jakarta, the collection reimagines familiar ingredients, local traditions and neighbourhood stories through a contemporary cocktail experience. The idea is simple: take a destination beyond its usual tourist highlights and discover its character one sip at a time.
The collection will debut during Renaissance Day of Discovery 2026, the brand’s annual celebration of cultural curiosity and neighbourhood exploration, taking place across participating hotels throughout October and November. This year’s theme, Layers of Discovery, invites guests to connect with local makers, explore creative communities and experience the cultural details that make each destination unique.
Naturally, the drinks are part of the adventure.

Three signature creations lead the collection. Blooming Flower brings an interactive twist to the table with a floral punch centred around a shared citrus jelly ritual, making it as much about the experience as the drink itself. The Night Market takes inspiration from the energy of neighbourhoods after dark, combining pandan, calamansi and tamarind into a vibrant serve. Meanwhile, Silk Road draws on tea, saffron and spice to celebrate the exchange of flavours and traditions across cultures.
The collection also includes Tropical Silk, a fruit-forward combination of passion fruit, lychee and tea, alongside Remedy, a drink inspired by traditional recipes associated with comfort and care, featuring house-made fruit preserves that reflect local tastes and traditions.
For Bali’s social crowd, the celebrations at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa and Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort offer two different ways to experience the concept.

At Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa, Renaissance Day of Discovery takes place from 31 October to 1 November 2026, with a programme that brings together local artisans, cultural performances, culinary discoveries and, naturally, the new beverage rituals. Guests can join workshops with local makers and a Punch Bowl Masterclass led by Demi, before moving into the evening with punch bowl rituals, live music and a traditional gamelan performance.
The programme also brings a taste of local street-food culture to the resort through Pasar Senggol, a night market featuring a curated selection of local culinary gems. A cultural performance, the “Baraong Show” by Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, adds another layer to the evening, bringing Balinese-inspired storytelling into the mix.
Over at Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort, the celebration begins with Malam Gemintang, an evening under the stars featuring local artisans, hands-on workshops, culinary discoveries and signature punch bowl cocktails inspired by neighbourhood night markets. The programme also includes a cultural performance and a fashion showcase by designers Neli Gunawan and Yusi Hendrawati. On 1 November, the experience continues with a special Blooming Flower Punch Bowl at R Bar.

Beyond the launch celebrations, selected drinks from the collection will remain available at participating hotels as part of the ongoing Evenings at Renaissance experience. Designed to mark the transition from daytime exploration to evening socialising, these beverage rituals offer another reason to linger, connect and discover something new.
For those looking to make the experience even more memorable, Marriott Bonvoy Moments is also offering two packages at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa, available for bidding with points. Each package for two guests includes an overnight stay in a Junior Suite, a Punch Bowl Masterclass with Demi, a sunset ritual and access to all Renaissance Day of Discovery activities in Uluwatu.
Because sometimes, the best way to get to know a destination is to skip the usual itinerary, pull up a chair and let the local flavours tell their story.
